We are currently seeking Entry Level Bridge Engineers for our Charleston, WV office.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include performing field inspections of highway bridges, documenting defects, preparing reports, and completing computations to calculate the load ratings of various bridge types. Work will also include preparing designs and contract documents for the repair or replacement of various types of bridge structures and providing support during construction such as reviewing shop drawings.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess the following:
- B.S.C.E with 0-2 years of bridge design experience
- Knowledge of AASHTO bridge specifications
- Knowledge of West Virginia policies, and procedures
- Experience with a variety of bridge design software preferred
- Hands-on experience with MicroStation software a plus
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to travel in-state
