The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, as well as comprehensive understanding of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of steel fabrication projects from initial planning to completion
- Review project proposals and scope to set timelines, resource requirements, and strategies for project completion
- Ensure all contractual terms and obligations of each project are met and properly documented
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery, identifying and addressing any potential delays proactively
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to cost-effective practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- PMP certification is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction, steel fabrication, or related industries
- Comprehensive knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
