Position Overview :
We are looking for a motivated and organized Project Manager to oversee and drive our steel fabrication projects from concept through completion. In this role, you will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, resources, and client expectations to ensure that each project is executed with the highest quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all phases of steel fabrication projects, from initial planning and estimation through production, installation, and completion.
- Review project proposals and scope to set timelines, budget limits, resource requirements, and strategies for project completion.
- Ensure all contractual terms and obligations of each project are met and properly documented.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely delivery, identifying and addressing any potential delays proactively.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure adherence to cost-effective practices.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, including engineering, detailing, fabrication, and installation, to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
- Work closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Detailers, Plant and Field crews to ensure construction drawings are accurate and complete.
- Implement and uphold Whitmore Steel’s safety standards, ensuring that all team members follow best practices and regulatory compliance on-site.
- Conduct project reviews and post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and foster continuous development within the team.
- Proactively identify risks and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure that materials and services are delivered according to project needs and specifications.
- Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
