Job Title: Director of Engineering
Foster a culture of innovation and excellence in our engineering and document control team, driving process improvements and collaborating with customers to enhance designs and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the engineering and document control teams to drive proactive and self-sufficient culture.
- Drive process improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity through data-driven insights and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with customer engineering teams to optimize designs and manufacturing processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support sales and business development efforts by providing technical expertise and analysis to inform DFM/DFT strategies.
- Assist in selecting cutting-edge equipment and advancing technology roadmaps to stay ahead of industry trends.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, including 5 years in NPI leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- SMT Manufacturing or EMS experience required.
- Expertise in PCBA processes, high-level assemblies, and box build.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience required; proficiency in PCB design and CAD tools (Valor, Cadence, Cam 350, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Experience in regulated industries (Aerospace, Defense, or Medical Devices).
