Our client, a leader in the Financial Services industry, is looking for a Project Specialist to drive automation initiatives in third-party mutual fund operations. You will play a key role in improving efficiency, profitability, and risk mitigation through automation, collaborating closely with senior leadership, risk teams, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead automation initiatives for US money market funds, enhancing trade and settlement processes.
- Coordinate with external funds and transfer agents to implement SFTP automation.
- Oversee testing and implementation, writing test scripts, managing resources, and ensuring smooth execution.
- Communicate with senior management, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Work with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk.
- Monitor project costs and identify ways to minimize testing and implementation expenses.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance, Business, etc.).
- 3 years of project management experience.
- 2 years experience with US money market funds.
- SFTP automation experience is required.
- Strong proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team management skills.
- Experience with Qtest is a plus.
