Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Culinary Services Supervisor. The successful candidate will assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the food nutrition / dining program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations and company policies.
- Manage programs within established guidelines, including budgets and operational financial forecasts.
- Train, motivate, and manage subordinate team members, providing guidance on tools and resources needed to perform tasks effectively.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounting and documentation of all financial components.
- Ensure compliance with applicable health regulations and ordinances, preparing schools for state or local board of health inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in food and nutrition, food service management, dietetics, family and consumer sciences, nutrition education, culinary arts, business, or related field.
- Certifications: ServSafe Mandatory, local food safety certification if required; knowledge of local health and food safety ordinances.
- Minimum 3 years experience in food service management, with at least 1 year in K-12 programs.
