As a Meat Team Lead, you will assist team leadership in supervising team members and ensuring the smooth operation of the meat department. Your responsibilities will include overseeing and maintaining compelling meat displays, providing excellent customer service, and training new team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Meat Team Members.
- Work with the Team Trainer to train team members and build a high-performance team.
- Resolve difficult customer situations and ensure all necessary breaks are given.
- Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
Requirements:
- 12 months retail experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operations-related applications.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment.
