Job Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner.
- Product Knowledge: Learn about all products carried in the department, including nutritional information and ingredients.
- Visual Merchandising: Ensure a visually appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and rotated regularly.
- Inventory Management: Assist with periodic inventory checks, monitor stock levels, and communicate waste to buyers and shift supervisors.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and support each other during busy periods.
Physical Requirements
- Maintain a fast-paced environment while standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching frequently.
- Work effectively in wet and dry conditions, with exposure to temperatures below 32°F (freezing), between 32-40°F (refrigerators), and above 90°F.
