JOB SUMMARY
The Recuperative Care Medical Assistant ensures efficient medical care facilitation for recuperative care clients, coordinating follow-up care and maintaining high-quality documentation while also assisting medical providers with excellent care. *THIS JOB OPENING IS FOR SWING SHIFT - 3-11:30PM*
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct initial client assessments and daily well-being checks.
- Link clients to medical services and coordinate care.
- Educate clients on health matters and assist with facility maintenance.
- Manage administrative tasks and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
- Prioritize health and safety, with strong multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and professional boundary setting.
- Knowledgeable in medical terminology and documentation practices.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills for coordinating care between patients and their care team
- Proficient in care coordination and electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work independently and work overnight shifts
- CMA or RMA certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 2 weeks of start date
