What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operations Specialist position at Wholesale Footwear Industry?
Production Operations Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Analyze if production orders exist
- Analyze and compare data to ensure accuracy
- Update production purchase orders based on EDI changes and send to factory
- Create orders for factory based upon customers orders
- Relay any revisions to factory and ensure all details of customer's order entered properly into our system
- Analyze retailer's customer manuals to see their guidelines as they pertain to key production areas such as packing and labelling
- Create an illustrated manual for factory to follow that adheres to customers specific compliance requirements
- Work with factory on questions that come up during production
- Assist in the ordering or customers unique price tickets and ensuring data is correct
Qualifications:
- In office 5 days a week
- Previous experience with EDI
- Previous experience with production
- Strong excel skills
- Able to work independently as part of team
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
