POSITION SUMMARY
We are a Wholesale Retailer based in Sumner, Washington looking for a Customer Service /Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This is an on-site position with our corporate office located in Sumner, WA. This position is a central role in our Customer Service Department and reports to the Head of Customer Relations.
The Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative will engage with current and potential customers to drive revenue growth, build customer relationships, manage incoming leads, and support the B2B relationship to provide best-in-class experience for our business customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to customer inquiries in a friendly timely manner providing great customer service by providing prompt and courteous responses to inquiries regarding information on our products, availability, delivery, price and product information, as well as general company information.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns via phone, email, and chat.
- Address customer issues and concerns providing timely and effective solutions ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities.
- Communicate to customers and other departments with the order status including backorders, inventory status and discontinued items.
- Work with other departments where appropriate and develop solid internal partnerships to ensure company goals and customer requirements are met.
- Provide management with informative feedback (positive or negative) from customers.
- Learn and maintain Diono’s product knowledge that encompasses legacy and new products.
- Trouble shoot and assist independent retailers in placing orders through our retailer portal.
- Provide order management including purchase orders processing to product inquires for B2B customers.
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of our products to effectively communicate with customers.
- Proactively review open orders to ensure on-time delivery and address anticipated delays with vendors and customers
- Participate in teamwork by sharing the daily workload as needed or assigned and sharing product/process knowledge for the benefit of team members and our customers.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional team player, with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Minimum one year inside sales experience required.
- Minimum two years office experience required.
- Minimum two years customer service experience required.
- Intermediate ability to operate computers and related software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, excel, and Outlook).
- Currently, have or able to obtain CPST preferred but not required.
- Zendesk, or other CRM software (Salesforce, Net Suite, etc.), preferred experience.
- Efficient touch typing and 10 key abilities.
- Ability to trouble shoot technical aspects of products.
- Ability to travel as needed, locally and out of state.
- Punctual, dependable, ability to adhere to schedules and timed availability.
SUMMARY OF BENEFITS

This position requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment. This person must communicate clearly using the English language to accurately convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the telephone. Generally good working conditions with little or no exposure to extremes in noise or temperature. Little or no safety/health hazards. Some lifting or climbing; work performed in an office and warehouse setting. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
