We are currently seeking a warehouse manager to join our team and manage operations within our l fulfillment center in Amarillo Texas. This candidate will manage and oversee the warehouse's receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. They must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders, and track shipping times, ultimately overseeing the fulfillment of millions of product orders every year.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse associates, and drivers: monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment. Scheduling and minimizing overtime.
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
- Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return: Using a scanner to assign bins as products are received and put up.
- Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay: Making sure all pulling is being handled using a scanner to minimize misspulliling. Responsible for loading drivers
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and maintained.
- Responsible for company vehicle inspections and maintenance
