Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain multiple Linux and Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Virtualization: Oversee and maintain our hypervisor environment using Proxmox and KVM, ensuring smooth operation of virtualized systems.
- VoIP Systems Management: Administer and troubleshoot VoIP systems, ensuring excellent call quality and connectivity for both internal and customer-facing services.
- Email Systems: Manage and support email server infrastructure, ensuring reliable service and security for users and customers.
- Team Leadership: Mentor new hires and oversee growth of our budding IT team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- System Standardization: Work to standardize and streamline internal systems to improve efficiency and reliability across the company.
- Customer IT Services: Facilitate and improve the IT services provided to customers, including troubleshooting, network support, and system installations.
- Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring that deadlines are met and systems are deployed smoothly.
- Network Troubleshooting: Provide support in diagnosing and resolving network and technical issues affecting customers or internal systems.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Linux Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Linux-based servers and systems administration.
- Hypervisor Experience: Proficient with Proxmox and KVM, and experience managing virtual environments.
- Server Experience: Experience managing both Windows and Linux server environments.
- VoIP Expertise: Knowledge of VoIP systems and troubleshooting.
- Email Systems: Familiarity with email server management (e.g., Exchange or similar platforms).
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and mentoring a technical team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex IT issues quickly and efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and projects.
- Networking Basics: A basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
