What are the responsibilities and job description for the Club4Kids (Child care) Worker position at Wichita Country Club?
The Wichita Country Club Club 4 Kids (childcare facility) is currently looking for a caring, compassionate worker who has experience caring for children comfortably walking to 12 years of age. Here at WCC, we are committed to providing top quality care and fun activities for our member’s children who participate in our program. Our C4K staff keeps kids active, play games and sometimes discipline children when they misbehave and report back to parents when necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Supervise children, diaper changing, lifting children, cleaning, assisting other babysitter-like responsibilities during different times throughout the day.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Communication and People Skills: C4K workers spend most of their day with children and will need to tell stories, ask and answer questions, as well as report back to parents and understand any instructions given to them.
- Instructional Skills: C4K workers need to be able to explain instructions clearly and in way children understand.
- Patience: Children can be frustrating. Being patient will help you when tense situations arise.
- Stamina: Kids are bundles of energy; therefore you need the energy to match. Carrying children, playing games, getting up/off floor, these all require strength.
- 16 years or older
- 1-2 years childcare experience recommended
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Certificate in first aid and CPR recommended, not required
- Part-time position available, Monday-Friday 9:00 am-1:00 pm, occasional weekends, Saturday 8:30 am-12:00 pm
- **possible management position available with proper experience, inquire further if interested
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
