What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburr Technician position at Wichita Machine Products?
Wichita Machine Products is an Aerospace machine and assembly shop that takes great pride in producing high quality parts and assemblies. We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic to join our team.
Job Duties:
- Grind, file, sand and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools
- Remove burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with power tools
- Use gauges, calipers and other measuring equipment to check and ensure part quality
- Keep a clean and safe work area
- Assist elsewhere in the shop as needed
Requirements:
- 2 years of deburr experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Machine shop experience
- US citizen or permanent resident
- Mechanical skills/aptitude
- Strong work ethic for fast pace shop environment
- Inspection skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
