About the Role :
The Financial Systems Developer / Technical Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to end-users, financial professionals, and technical teams. This role involves creating instructional materials, conducting hands-on training sessions, and ensuring that employees and stakeholders effectively utilize these financial management tools to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
Five (5) or more years of experience related to system development and maintenance
Experience with .NET, C#, PowerBI, Tableau or similar tools.
Demonstrated experience using software documentation tools.
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering online and in person training for various audiences
Demonstrated experience supporting medium complexity tickets until resolution
Preferred Qualifications :
SAP financials experience preferred
Patch management and release management experience required
Proficiency in using financial reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects, or similar platforms.
Experience with ERP systems, budgeting software, and business process automation.
Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain ongoing support of financial management applications using C, .NET, VB.NET
Create system documentation and lead the technical training of the applications
Support and resolve end user requests and issues daily
Support and receive technical guidance from the Project Manager and the Senior Software Engineer to create dynamic reports and dashboards using PowerBI, and other tools
Work with the Project Manager and Sr. Engineer to ensure work is completed in a satisfactory and timely manner
Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and documentation
Provide hands-on technical training on system functionalities, reporting features, and financial analysis tools.
Design user-friendly training materials, including manuals, video tutorials, and online courses.
Conduct live demonstrations, webinars, and in-person training sessions for finance and operations teams.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data security policies, and best practices.
Skills :
Familiarity with financial data structures, compliance requirements, and reporting frameworks.
Experience working with government financial management systems is preferred.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and e-learning tools.
