Job Responsibilities
As a Network Engineer IV , you will :
Design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise routing protocols (OSPF, BGPv4, MPLS / BGP), VLANs, QoS policies, IP SLA, and NetFlow network management.Implement and administer network devices, including Cisco Firewalls , network switches (IOS and NX-OS), ISR, VPN, wireless controllers, and access points.Provide expertise in firewall and network security solutions, including NGFW, IDS, IPS, Content Filtering, RADIUS, TACACS, 802.1X, and VPN solutions .Lead infrastructure design, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting for enterprise-scale deployments.Define and maintain network policies, rights, and security for enterprise environments.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices , driving innovation within the team.Develop project plans, including defining goals, budgets, and resources within the network and telecom space.Coordinate with other engineers to accomplish enterprise-scale deployments efficiently.Create and document procedures, work instructions , and other methods to ensure consistent results and knowledge sharing.Communicate effectively across departments, providing presentations and collaborating with stakeholders.Qualifications
Education : Minimum 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.Certification : Professional-level certification (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional ).Experience :At least 3 years of experience with firewall and network security solutions, including NGFW, IDS, IPS, Content Filtering, RADIUS, TACACS, and VPN.
At least 5 years of experience in network design and support in a Cisco networking environment.Advanced hands-on experience implementing and managing Cisco networking solutions.Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting enterprise routing protocols and managing complex network infrastructures.Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Additional Requirements
Onsite service is required; relocation to Albuquerque, NM may be necessary.Federal fingerprint background check is mandatory.Experience working with federal agencies is highly preferred.Why Join Us?
