What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Concierge position at Wickford Appliance Inc?
Wickford Appliance is looking to immediately hire a Delivery Concierge Representative. This is an administrative job located in our distribution office on Valley Street in East Providence.
This is a fast-paced job that provides a lot of variety. Tasks include phone follow-up with customers after their delivery, handling questions and issues at time of delivery, Microsoft Excel data entry, maintaining pricing on our website using Excel, helping sales people in the stores with delivery related concerns, communicating with vendors regarding defective and damaged products as well as various other tasks assigned by management.
Excellent customer service skills are needed, phone communication, Excel program capabilities and general computer/internet qualifications are essential. Applicant must have a proactive personality and not be afraid to dive in and tackle new things. Also must work well in a team atmosphere.
The schedule consist of 5 work days between Monday – Saturday from 7:30AM to 4:30PM. Pay will be hourly, commensurate with experience level. A review will be scheduled after 90-days of being in the Delivery Concierge position.
Employee may be required to spend time at other locations during their training period to gain a full understanding of our systems and processes.
This is a full-time position, and includes benefits of paid vacations, sick time, 401(k) type plan, employee discounts, some paid holidays and health/vision/dental options. Also, as always, Wickford Appliance is closed on Sundays for family time.
