Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is prepared and sterile.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor animal patients' vital signs and behavior during procedures and recovery.
- Provide proper restraint techniques for animals during examinations and treatments.
- Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventative health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and observations.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of veterinary practices, animal anatomy, and dental terminology.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to perform animal restraint safely and humanely.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
