Primary Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and client engagement.
- New Business Development: Identify prospective clients and drive sales through in-person meetings, digital outreach, and industry networking.
- Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with shipbuilders, maritime manufacturers, and defense contractors.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to generate leads and increase market influence.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with regional and national sales teams to share market insights and refine business strategies.
- Consultative Sales Execution: Present technical solutions tailored to client needs, demonstrating expertise in electrical and industrial applications.
- Performance Optimization: Track sales efforts, analyze market feedback, and adjust strategies to maximize growth opportunities.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the shipbuilding, maritime, or defense industries.
- Business development expertise with a strong ability to identify and pursue new opportunities using multi-channel outreach strategies.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical electrical and industrial solutions effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office 365, and digital networking tools.
- Ability to leverage social media and industry networks for lead generation and relationship building.
- Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States, meeting any required security standards.
Requirements
