JOB TITLE: High School Business Office Secretary/Athletic Secretary
SALARY: According to placement on current salary schedule

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 200 days
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures for evaluating non-licensed staff
REPORTS TO: Principal or assigned administrator

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
1. Receptionist experience preferred.
2. Experience in using personal computers and related software required.

JOB SKILLS and ABILITIES:
1. Demonstrates proficiency in operating personal computers and related software including, but not limited to word processing, database and spreadsheet
2. Demonstrates ability to generate and maintain accurate documents including, but not limited to letters, memos, reports, calendars, inventories, databases and spreadsheets
3. Demonstrates efficient communication skills both verbally and in writing
4. Demonstrates a positive attitude in serving the school community
5. Uses correct grammar and spelling in all documents and record keeping
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists coaches in various tasks such as; tracking eligibility cards, tracking weekly eligibility, collecting physicals and process them in the student management system and helping manage the school league online
2. Completes bus requisitions for all out of district athletic events
3. Works with photography company in scheduling team pictures and processing ID cards
4. Takes trips to various stores to support staff in activities and events as assigned
5. Manages concessions for the school
6. Works the gate at the majority of athletic events as assigned
7. Generates documents in required formats using PC and related software as assigned
8. Processes internal and external correspondence and communications as assigned
9. Copies, collates and files materials as assigned
10. Performs bookkeeping and budgeting tasks for activity/sports including: counting and depositing of large sums of monies, generating requisitions, transferring funds, allocating of P-Cards monthly, conditions processing and tracking of fees
11. Processes vendor requests as assigned
12. Processes referee pay and process in the current assigning system
13. Responsible for cash boxes for all athletic games
14. Responsible for petty cash and accounting duties as assigned
15. Supports students, staff and parents with business office needs in a positive and professional manner
16. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with co-workers, and interact with colleagues in a professional manner
17. Models an effective understanding and respect for diversity and inclusion
18. Incorporates legal rights and due process for children with special needs
19. Demonstrates a positive attitude towards change
20. Performs such other tasks as may, from time to time, be assigned
