Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Portfolio Property Manager to oversee multiple properties within an assigned portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and customer relationship management. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the properties are well-maintained and that tenant satisfaction is prioritized.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist and oversee property maintenance activities, coordinating with maintenance staff to address issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance tenant retention and satisfaction.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals in alignment with company standards.
- Implement administrative processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Utilize AppFolio software or similar property management software for managing tenant information, payments, budgets and lease agreements.
- Address elevated conflicts or concerns from tenants effectively, employing conflict management strategies as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven and successful experience in property management - LIHTC/HUD affordable housing experience a bonus.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance procedures and best practices.
