Litigation Marketing Specialist
We are seeking a skilled litigation marketing specialist to join our team as an Assistant Director of Marketing and Business Development-Litigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and support our litigation practice groups.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing plans that support the firm's business development objectives.
- Manage marketing activities, including the preparation of presentations, RFP responses, and client relationship events.
- Identify and pursue speaking and authorship opportunities to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility.
- Evaluate sponsorship and event opportunities to provide valuable insights to the team and practice groups.
- Analyze competitors through market research to inform marketing strategies.
- Work with practices to develop assessments of emerging industry trends and issues, providing actionable insights on service offerings.
- Prepare content for third-party ranking submissions, including Chambers, Legal 500, and other prominent directories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7-10 years' experience in strategic marketing and business development in a professional services environment, preferably at a law firm.
- Strong proofreading, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and collaboration.
