Job Summary
">The Assistant Director of Marketing and Business Development-Litigation will play a key role in supporting the success of our firm's marketing and business development efforts. This position will work closely with lawyers and the marketing team to implement and execute marketing programs, develop strategic initiatives, and provide exceptional support to practice groups.
Responsibilities
">- Develops and implements strategic marketing programs to support business development priorities for practice groups.
- Collaborates with lawyers and the marketing team to prepare presentations, RFP responses, and other marketing materials.
- Identifies opportunities for speaking engagements and authorship with professional and trade organizations.
- Evaluates sponsorship and event opportunities to recommend participation to the marketing team and practice groups.
- Conducts competitor analysis through market research.
- Works with practice groups to assess emerging industry trends and issues, providing insights on service offerings.
- Assists in preparing content for third-party ranking submissions.
- Creates internal communications and develops marketing materials.
- Tracks experience and matters, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Supports client events, seminars, and webinars.
- Coordinates cross-practice initiatives for cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date client lists and matter descriptions.
- Assists with editing and producing firm and practice group marketing materials.
- Develops and manages website content, newsletters, and other external communication pieces.
Qualifications
">- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in strategic marketing and business development in a professional services environment; previous experience at a law firm is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
