The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the execution of various projects across multiple functional areas. They will actively manage timelines, cost, and quality, effectively communicating with stake holders across the business, locally and globally. They will coordinate the project teams to deliver regular status reporting, project level risk mitigation strategies and issue management. Willingness to work and manage projects in Finance, IT, Marketing, Operations and Sales.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end to end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process, while implementing project level processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Lead multiple projects and teams simultaneously in different functional areas of the business.
- Create and develop project objectives, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all schedules are met timely and within budget while maintaining project accountability metrics within the project team.
- Develop and monitor key project milestones.
- Lead project kick off and regular project team meetings, motivating project teams to stay on task and complete project objectives.
- Monitor project risks and scope creep to proactively address potential risks and issues.
- Drive consistent reporting to internal stakeholders outside of the core project team, with appropriate escalation to management as needed.
- Develop transition plan to ensure met project objectives integrate within normal business operations.
- Develop and track other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Experience leading large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage time in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating accountability and initiative.
- Highly organized and punctual.
- Proven success in owning and accomplishing objectives with demonstrated problem solving ability.
- Ability to lead organizational and cultural change.
- Team player who works well with others including personnel from global company locations.
- Strong business analytical and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Background in the implementation of ERP, WMS or large-scale application project(s).
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project or Smartsheet, and work with Microsoft AX or D365 is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Business, Project Management, or related field required
- 4 years Project Management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
Pay Starting at $70,000 per year (Based on Experience)
