Videographer/Editor

WIKD Motorsports is expanding and looking for a Social Media Specialist to work in our shop in McKinney, Texas.

We are seeking a multimedia specialist with previous experience primarily creating short and long form video content for various social media platforms

An ideal candidate should have both video creation experience and graphic design experience.

• Must be self-paced, good with people, and have a good understanding of basic design principles.
• We are looking for someone with the ability to work collaboratively with our marketing team to increase both the quality and quantity of our content.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Transform raw video footage into dynamic, engaging social media content that captivates audiences.
• Edit and refine video content with a keen eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual appeal tailored for social platforms.
• Conceptualize, storyboard, and execute compelling video and photo content from inception to final production.
• Collaborate with the media and marketing team to develop innovative marketing strategies and creative campaigns.
• Maintain a cohesive and visually striking brand identity across all content, ensuring consistency with company guidelines.
• Juggle multiple projects seamlessly, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Contribute on set with a foundational understanding of mobile videography and photography for social media.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 Years experience working in social media/marketing
• Knowledge of the car culture (preferred)
• Meet or exceed content output requirements
• Familiarity with video editing
• Adobe Illustrator, In-design and Photoshop experience
• Desire for learning additional skills and different processes to achieve goals.
• Professional appearance and strong communication

Physical Requirements:

Be able to sit at a desk for extended periods

Ability to walk around and shoot video/photo content

Efficiently navigate a PC computer

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, 1 hour lunch break

Infrequent weekend work required for special Race Event Weekends or shows
