Hub Helper
Department: Distribution
Reports To: General Manager/Night Cross Dock Driver
Status: Non-Exempt
Description: The position of hub helper requires someone who has a strong attention to detail, as well as an ability to solve complex issues relating to stocking, organization and space management. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Loads and unloads parts delivered to the distribution center.
- Works closely under the direction of the Night Cross Dock Driver
- Operates material handling equipment safely and efficiently (ie. pallet jack, etc).
- Ability to manage inventory efficiently and effectively placing items in an organized manner.
- Ability to move vehicles and merchandise without damaging vehicles, merchandise, people or property.*
- Knowledge of the Automotive Recycling Association's (ARA) part system.*
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment and ensures optimized space utilization.
- Completes tasks assigned by the General Manager and Operations Manager quickly and efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. For heavier merchandise lifting devices and/or assistance is required.
