Wilbraham, Lawler & Buba, P.C. is a mid-sized litigation law firm seeking a Paralegal to join our team.
Job Description:
The paralegal will assist a variety of attorneys during the entire litigation process, subject to the supervision of the attorney responsible for the matter. Responsibilities include supporting all facets of discovery; trial and appellate preparation; court filings; document management and production; and exhibit preparation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
- Litigation experience preferred
- Position requires a detail oriented, organized individual with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Strong time management abilities to coordinate multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent judgment and discretion.
- Experience in products liability, toxic torts, and/or asbestos litigation a plus.
- Knowledge of legal formats, procedures, terminology, court-related platforms (e.g., PACER, state court systems), and legal billing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel and LexisNexis.
- Experience with Juris and Aderant Total Office is a plus
- Ability to ffnction and contribute as part of a team
- Work well under deadlines and in a fast paced- high-pressure environment
Starting salary is comparable to going rates and will depend on experience.
