Job Summary
This is a in office position, requiring candidate to work during business hours.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Data Analyst/ Business Comptroller, Accounting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in data analysis and visualization, with an understanding of business. This role requires accounting, business and data proficiency in various analytical tools and methodologies, along with the ability to communicate findings effectively to owners and management. You will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making processes and enhancing business operations through data-driven strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Maintain as well as develop end of the month reports, P&L reports and regular data entries.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs for data analysis.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee data-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist in database design and management, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for analysis.
- Apply business analysis techniques to evaluate processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
- Document findings and present results.
- Must have business knowledge for monthly / end of month close out reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Accounting, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Accountant, Business Manager or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with database design principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with business analysis techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
