What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper - Wild Adventures Safari Campground position at Wild Adventures Theme Park?
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Maintain an aesthetically pleasing, sanitary environment both indoors and outdoors in all guest view and back of house areas
- Ensure cleanliness by removing all trash and debris from public and back areas, including walkways, trash receptacles, landscaped areas, etc. This includes cleaning / bussing patios, wiping down tables and benches and sweeping / blowing all campground walkways.
- Collect and empty waste and recyclable material throughout the campground and all buildings, discarding the materials in designated dumpsters or bins
- Landscape assigned areas by performing appropriate pruning, trimming, hedging, weeding, mulching, curbing etc.
- Maintain clean work areas and storage closet areas
- Interact with guests daily in a positive and informative manner
- Clean and maintain fire pits, properly disposing of hot ash
- Report any unsafe actions or areas and any needed repairs to your team lead / supervisor
- Perform all duties within quality and efficiency standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
Work Environment
The position requires outdoor work in all weather conditions and the presence of dust and odors.
