What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant (Entry Level) position at Wild Adventures Theme Park?
Essential Functions Statement(s)
Assist the HR team with daily office operations including but not limited to :
- Meet and Greet guests of HR
- Assists with Hiring Events
- Assists with End of Season Unemployment documentation
- Provides Data Entry as assigned
- Assists with Team Member survey’s and benefit open enrollment
- Maintenance of personnel files
- Update and create employee ID’s
- Coordinate and track employee recognition programs
- Answer phones, sort mail, fax
- Process in employees to include compliance with drug screening procedure and ordering backgrounds / MVR / credit checks
- Provide assistance with Employee Relations / Functions / Events
- Assists with special events and projects as needed
Occasionally works on-park for other departments during special events; willing to be trained to function as a park team member, as needed by park operations.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Primary work space will an indoor, professional office setting; occasionally requires outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Competency Statement(s)
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education : High school diploma, or equivalent
Experience : 6 months - 2 years general office experience; experience in a human resources office, preferred
Computer Skills : Must have strong computer skills, including intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn unfamiliar programs needed in the position
