What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Technician position at Wild Cat Oil Tools?
Position Summary:
Shop Technicians complete work orders, maintain equipment, and support shop operations while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with Wildcat Oil Tools’ QHSE policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Your primary responsibility is to ensure a safe work environment. If you see a safety concern, stop work and
take immediate action to resolve it.
• Complete work orders (WOs) accurately and efficiently, ensuring tasks meet quality standards.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and is properly documented.
• Monitor progress on assigned tasks, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation.
• Assist with the maintenance, assembly, disassembly, and repair of equipment under the supervision of Shop Foreman or shift leaders. Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to equipment and processes.
• Wear Wildcat Provided PP&E.
• Communicate in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities directed by supervisor
CANDIDATE CHARACTERISTICS
No prior experience required; however, experience in a shop, warehouse, oilfield, or mechanical environment is preferred.
Education and Training:
• High School Diploma Preferred
• Trade/Technical school diploma will be considered
