What are the responsibilities and job description for the Zoo/Barnyard and Bird Aviary Worker position at Wild Florida?
Responsibilities:
Perform daily care of assigned area including cleaning, feeding, and exhibit
maintenance.
Prepare diets for the animal collection
Interact with guests who wish to see the animals in their habitats
Ensure the safety and well-being of both the animals and the guests.
Perform cash or credit card transactions with guests who wish to purchase feed for the animals.
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years old
Must have good communication skills, written and verbal
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions
Must have the ability to work individually or with a team or without direct
supervision
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
