Wildpack is a rapidly growing and established co-packaging and co-manufacturer with multi-site facilities for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Wildpack produces and packages ready-to-drink beverages for a variety of brand owners in the retail CPG space.
The Materials Resource Planner (MRP) ensures the timely availability of materials and ingredients to meet production schedules. Acting as a liaison between production planning and procurement, the MRP plays a critical role in maintaining efficiency and preventing disruptions. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role ensures customer orders are completed in alignment with Wildpack’s standards for customer satisfaction. Success in this position requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to serve as the key link between all teams involved in a production run.
The work environment is dynamic, with shifting priorities that require adaptability and focus. While the noise level is usually quiet, it can become loud and disruptive due to the nature of production activities.
A day in the life: What you do
- Collaborate daily with Planners and Procurement to ensure timely receipt of materials and ingredients.
- Validate purchase requests for necessary materials and ingredients.
- Track delivery updates and escalate delays to minimize production impacts.
- Review material and ingredient needs for production schedules.
- Communicate and recommend schedule adjustments based on material availability.
- Ensure production documentation is complete and accurate regarding material usage.
- Provide guidelines for shipping customer-supplied materials.
- Notify customers of completed production and request material removal from facilities.
- Communicate quality concerns or delays in collaboration with the Quality team.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Sales and Production/Operations teams.
- Monitor expiring ingredients and ensure First-In, First-Out (FIFO) usage.
- Work with Planners to address shelf-life concerns.
- Scheduling for customer-supplied materials and ingredients.
- Participate in production calls, planning meetings, and customer onboarding sessions.
- Communicate production schedules, delays, and updates proactively.

Qualifications: What you know
- Strong Proficiency working with ERP systems, Odoo an asset.
- Strong project management skills; certifications such as PMP are an asset.
- A background in manufacturing or beverage production is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Capable of multitasking and managing shifting priorities.
- Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to deadlines.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred / Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of three years of experience in supply
- Strong project management skills; certifications such as PMP are an asset.
- A background in manufacturing or beverage production is highly desirable.
