What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Wild West, Inc.?
Job Summary:
Serves food and beverage products according to Whiskey Creek product quality and time standards. Does “whatever it takes” to help the team provide the highest quality and greatest value to our Guests.
Essential Job Functions:
- Accomplishes their job with a positive attitude.
- Reviews and stocks Bar for business.
- Provide 100% Guest satisfaction to all Guests who patronize our restaurant.
- Responsible for cashing out Guests and proper money handling, cash-out with Manager at end of shift.
- With Manager, at closing, run P.O.S. report and together count drawer.
- Portions food and liquor products according to specifications.
- Performs quality checks intermittently throughout shift.
- Adheres to nine service steps; suggestive selling, tray service, Guest friendly.
- Able to adapt to computer ordering.
- Follows proper safety and sanitation procedures.
- Responsible for cleaning the bar area and some dining areas, sweeping and mopping prior to leaving.
- Assist in storing food and beverage products.
- Completes assigned back-up duties as required.
Qualification Standards:
- Ability to take verbal directions from Trainers and Management and Verbal orders from the Guest.
- Ability to read, learn and sell menu items.
- Good hand dexterity and eyesight critical when carrying trays to the table and mixing and pouring beverages.
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds of food and beverage product throughout the shift, primarily using tray service.
- Must be able to stock, reach up to high shelving and stoop to lower shelving, while lifting food products weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to learn and follow good safety and sanitation practices required of the food service industry.
- Friendly personality required for interacting with Guests and fellow team members.
- Previous experience preferred.
