```OVERVIEW```
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Kitchen Team Members to join our team when we reopen for the season (March 1st) to support the delicious preparation and production of our food and all related menu items for Wild Willy's Burgers. ```DUTIES```
A willingness to serve one or more of our kitchen stations at any given time including:
(1) the grill (reserved for our most seasoned kitchen staff who can expertly cook meat to temperature)
(2) the line (for the assembly of our burgers and sandwiches)
(3) the fryolators (to make our french fries) and/or
(4) the back bar (prepping other foods during service, washing dishes, and serving as added support to the grill and the line)
In addition, be willing to complete the following tasks:
- Restocking all food items and related containers before and after food service
- Preparing meats for burgers, chicken sandwiches & handcutting potatoes for french fries
- Prepping and washing vegetables for service including onions, tomatoes, lettuce, etc., and stocking core ingredients along the line (including cooking mushrooms, onions, peppers, wrapping and preparing a wide variety of cheeses and more)
- Making our homemade sauces, chilli and salads
- Opening and closing the kitchen for service (including cleaning of grill, fryolators, kitchen equipment, dishes, floors, and surfaces)
- Working in partnership with the dining room staff to ensure the best guest experience possible throughout the shift
NOTE: If possible and where interested, select employees may be cross-trained kitchen staff to also work in the dining room.
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment, cooking techniques & how to prepare food safely
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills & ability to work in close quarters with team members
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekdays and/or weekends as needed
