What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Hospital Receptionist / Client Service Representative position at Wilder Animal Hospital?
We are hiring for an experienced, warm, friendly veterinary client service representative (CSR/receptionist) at our busy general practice veterinary hospital. We are a tight-knit group; everyone pulls their weight but we love to have fun while we work. While you must love animals, you must really love people - this is a client-facing position and you will be one of the bright and sunshiny faces at our front desk.
We are looking for someone who is nimble, able to multi-task, has excellent attention to detail, can work quickly and efficiently, and not be afraid to jump in to help wherever needed. We utilize a cloud-based practice management software and are paperless, so you should be computer-savvy and willing to learn new computer programs.
The veterinary CSR can be very rewarding position -- but it is also demanding. Sometimes clients are gruff, or upset, and it is very important that you can handle clients that are not always on their best behavior. Staying calm and collected, and having a sense of humor is essential to our line of work!
