We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities and Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and repair of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and building/repair programs to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement maintenance policies, procedures, and schedules for all equipment and facilities.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff, technicians, and contractors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues to ensure prompt resolution.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase equipment lifespan.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repair and maintenance work.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Keep records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Implement training programs for maintenance personnel to enhance skills and efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in repair and maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or facility setting.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple departments.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other safety regulations.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in industrial, commercial, or residential settings as required.
- May require occasional lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
- Willingness to be on call for emergency repairs.
