Job Summary:
We’re looking for a team-oriented individual to join our cultivation staff who enjoys working with plants at a commercial scale, on a tight schedule. We need a reliable, driven person who has a proven track record of taking the initiative with respect to both efficiency and quality of work.
This position includes hard work in a fast-paced environment; we need someone who thrives in this setting. We prefer someone who understands the importance of uniformity of production standards.
While prior experience with cannabis is preferred, it is not necessary. We'll provide all relevant on-the-job training.
Primary duties and responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
- Perform routine functions as scheduled and assigned by the Cultivation Manager
- Defoliation
- Transplanting
- Trellising
- Harvesting
- Cloning and Propagation
- Cleaning of rooms post harvest
- Room Sanitization
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of all work areas in the facility
- Maintain a positive work environment conducive to cooperation, trust, and respect.
Being a small team, there will be occasions where cultivation staff assist the post harvest staff when necessary. Typical duties for these occasions include but aren’t limited to:
- Hanging harvested plants
- Bucking dry flower
- Trimming
This is a hardworking environment with consistently high temperatures and humidity. Please note that this role requires physical labor in this type of environment on a daily basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Possess an IIC card from Maine Office of Cannabis Policy or have the ability to obtain one before joining the team
- Reliable transportation to the facility
- Well organized and have the ability to keep deadlines
- Ability to work positively in a team environment to achieve company goals
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Must remain compliant with all Office of Cannabis Policy requirements for working in the cannabis industry
- Must be focused and pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to internalize training and follow instructions
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
