Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Efficiently picks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is staged, loaded and shipped
- Responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all orders filled, re: working with bar-code scanning equipment to ensure inventory accuracy within the site’s ERP system
- Efficiently receives inbound shipments, relocates product to stocking locations and delivers product to customer’s dock, ensuring that the correct quantity and type of product is loaded for delivery
- Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material (loading, unloading and relocating) to and from trucks within the storage facility (including hand-loading/unloading products onto shelves, pallets, etc.)
- Opens containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools
- Any other duties needed to drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our Values
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (for state where warehouse is located)
- Experience driving non-CDL delivery trucks
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment
- Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime up to 15 hours per week
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- 2-5 years of experience in a Business, Logistics, Purchasing, or Supply Chain environment
- Professional interpersonal communication skills
- Intelligent, detail-oriented, flexible team player
- Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimal instructions and supervision
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability with excellent organizational skills
- Inventory-control experience, (cycle-counts, manual counts, reconciliation, etc.)
- ERP system experience
- Previous warehouse experience
- Bar-code scanning equipment experience
