Position Summary
The Senior HR Reporting Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced HR analytics and reporting solutions. This role transforms complex HR data into actionable insights and identifies trends and patterns to support data-driven decision-making within the organization. The position requires expertise in HR systems and processes, advanced data analysis, visualization tools, and HR knowledge to ensure the accurate collection, categorization, and analysis of HR data to proactively meet the evolving needs of the organization.
This position will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing our HR Systems. Responsibilities also include assisting in data processing and maintaining data integrity. The role collaborates with HR Business Partners across the globe to support the employee life-cycle while being an advocate for change and promoting innovation. It is essential to stay current with reporting trends, best practices, and new technologies and innovations.
Principal Responsibilities
Reporting and Analysis (Solid understanding of data across all HR-related systems, incorporating trend analysis to provide actionable insights that present complex data in an understanding manner for key stakeholders)
- Analyze employee-related data and workforce metrics to identify and assist in building data infrastructure, setting reporting standards and processes.
- Conduct needs analysis by collaborating with key stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide tailored solutions which should be monitored and adjusted as needed.
- Demonstrates a strong background in employee lifecycle analytics (e.g., recruitment, turnover, engagement, DEI metrics).
- Proactively develop and deliver interactive and visually compelling HR reports and dashboards to provide insights on workforce trends, turnover, recruitment, diversity, and other relevant HR KPIs leveraging the latest reporting solutions.
- Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities for operational improvements while ensuring proper data integrity and audit processes.
- Support compliance reporting, including EEO, AAP, and other regulatory requirements and activities.
- Partner with HR leadership to create predictive models for workforce planning, retention, and performance forecasting (preferred).
HRIS
- Evaluate and recommend tools or system enhancements to improve and optimize reporting capabilities.
- Help drive implementation and maintenance of HRIS platform(s) including requirements gathering, testing and testing strategy for new releases and/or implementations.
- Develop processes for periodic HR system vendor releases: review and communicate updates, create and execute testing plan and test cases, working with end users for training, testing and rollout.
Data Processing and Management
- Timely and efficient collection, verification, processing and management of employee data working closely with payroll and the HR Business Partner teams.
- Assist in audits on all data processed, proactively capturing issues.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in HR analytics, reporting, or related fields
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align reporting with business objectives
- Proven experience with HRIS platforms, such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, proactively identify trends, storytelling and provide actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Expertise in developing and managing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills
- Superior attention to detail and ability to manage highly confidential information
