Duties
- Treat children with respect.
- Keep children busy and engaged.
- Provide a safe environment for children, including using safety equipment.
- Provide children with snacks and meals at the appropriate times.
- Make sure that the center is cleaned and maintained properly.
- Be on time to work, prepared to work all scheduled hours, and work until the job is done.
- Stay calm in stressful situations.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
- Experience with children: 1 year (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
