Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee youth programs and activities – Ensure programs align with organizational goals and youth needs while fostering engagement and leadership development.
- Develop and implement project plans for youth initiatives – Create structured plans with clear timelines, goals, and evaluation metrics.
- Manage requirements for youth projects, including gathering, documenting, and tracking data – Maintain accurate and timely records to measure project outcomes and impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met – Work with community partners, schools, and agencies to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to evaluate program effectiveness – Utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to assess impact and inform decision-making.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with youth participants and stakeholders – Lead interactive sessions, ensuring inclusivity and active participation.
- Provide guidance and support to youth participants – Serve as a mentor and resource, fostering youth empowerment and leadership.
- Utilize project management and reporting software systems – Leverage technology for tracking, reporting, and communication.
- Support the implementation of project-related strategies and activities – Contribute to the execution of long-term initiatives that align with organizational and community priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, youth development, public health, education, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
- 2 years of experience in youth program coordination, project management, or a related role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with data collection, evaluation, and reporting to measure program effectiveness.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with experience engaging diverse youth and adult stakeholders.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, substance use prevention strategies and youth advocacy.
- Proficiency in project management and data tracking software (e.g., Google Suite, Trello, Salesforce, or similar platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to various audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams, community partners, and youth participants.
- Passion for youth development and a commitment to fostering equity, inclusion, and positive change in communities.
Skills:
- Strong project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in project implementation and data collection.
- Experience working with youth preferred.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, substance use prevention strategies.
- Excellent meeting facilitation skills, with the ability to engage youth and adult participants and drive strategic planning and implementation efforts.
