We are seeking a Program Coordinator – Youth and Culinary Innovation who can bring together a passion for the culinary arts with a deep commitment to working with young people. This person will be key in growing and nurturing this exciting initiative, guiding youth participants through the process of developing and running the youth-led food truck, while providing valuable mentorship along the way.
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator – Youth and Culinary Innovation will coordinate and drive the growth of the youth-led food truck program. They will design and execute hands-on sessions, connect with industry professionals, and help participants build skills across multiple areas such as culinary arts, marketing, design, and entrepreneurship. This role requires someone who can seamlessly merge a love for cooking with a passion for empowering young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Development & Execution:
- Design and deliver hands-on sessions to build the food truck business, incorporating culinary skills, marketing, design, and business development.
- Refine and scale the program to ensure success and alignment with organizational goals.
- Industry Engagement:
- Identify and establish partnerships with industry professionals in culinary arts, marketing, design, and business operations.
- Coordinate expert-led workshops and shadowing opportunities for youth participants.
- Youth Collaboration:
- Lead engaging, hands-on sessions to equip youth participants with the skills and knowledge to contribute to the food truck program.
- Cultivate a sense of teamwork, creativity, and ownership among youth.
- Program Operations:
- Manage schedules, logistics, and day-to-day activities of the program.
- Ensure that all aspects of the program run smoothly and effectively.
