Legal Secretary
Boutique civil litigation law firm is hiring for a full-time, in-office Legal Secretary position. Our ideal candidate is organized, diligent, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of the office by supporting multiple attorneys with various administrative tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Screen, direct, and prioritize incoming calls and emails
- Create and maintain case files
- Track deadlines to ensure documents are filed in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients in person, over the phone, and via email
- Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents, such as motions or letters of intent
- Perform secretarial duties, including maintaining lawyers’ calendars, scheduling appointments, making copies, and compiling complex documentation
- Perform legal and background research when requested
Must have 1 year experience working in a fast-paced office environment, preferably in the legal field.
Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, the ability to type quickly and accurately, superior organization skills and excellent attention to detail. organizational, analytical and decision-making skills are required. Candidate should have a proficient knowledge of MS365 software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
