Wedding DJ Service

Overview:
We are seeking personable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the DJ Service role. As a DJ at Will Nye, you will be responsible for creating an energetic and engaging atmosphere through music selection and performance. However the most important aspect of this role is the service aspect of it. Being personable with the couple, with their guest, showing interest in their big day and being a continuous professional throughout the event. Duties:
- Transport provided equipment to your assigned event, set up, complete the event, tear down, and return equipment.
- Interact with guests to gauge music preferences and requests
- Be a constant professional while representing Will Nye The DJ Guy.
- Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm throughout performances
- Collaborate with event organizers to ensure music aligns with the overall ambiance as well as coordination of events, and timelines throughout the evening(service side!)
- Engage in public speaking to make announcements and interact with the crowd

Requirements:
- Enthusiastic, personable, good communicator, and energetic. We can and do train individuals with little to no experience on the audio equipment and the song knowledge. The one thing that's harder to teach is being a service professional. Making the couple feel like you are having fun celebrating with them, and always remaining upbeat and professional.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and take song requests
- Ability to lift heavy equipment when setting up or tearing down
- Excellent customer service skills to provide an exceptional experience for guests

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $300.00 - $600.00 per day

Expected hours: 7 – 28 per week
