Front Office Supervisor
Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, Central Oregons largest privately-owned Cancer Care and Research Center, is looking for an exceptional leader to join our team. The Front Office Supervisor will guide, manage, and encourage our Reception and Operator teams to meet and exceed the high level of service and support our community has come to expect from WVCI. Putting our patients above all us is at the core of WVCIs mission, so having a supervisor that can lead from extensive experience is paramount. Understanding the importance of verbal and non-verbal communication, team development, and how to create a memorable first impression are highly desirable skills. This position will mainly support the front office and operator team at our Eugene clinical site, as well as our site in Springfield.
The general pay scale for this position at WVCI is $48,395.77 - $82,104.55. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to : prior work experience, education, job / position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

Responsibilities :
- Oversees front office functions, with focus on the Reception and Operator department.
- Takes part in the recruitment of front office staff.
- Takes part in developing and attaining performance goals and objectives.
- Evaluates performance and recommends merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Provides assistance and coverage for front office functions as required.
- Manages teams at main clinical location as well as nearby clinics as assigned.
- Partner with practice leadership to maintain call matrix for Phone Operator team.
- Monitors call volume and cash collection reports.
- Supervision of batch reconciliation at reception
- Conduct department and sub-department meetings.
- Develops and maintains a professional department that assists the organization toward its goal of improving cost-effectiveness of health care delivery.
- Acts as liaison between physicians, administration, and business departments.
- Coordinates office procedures with front office, medical staff, and billing office to ensure smooth flow of information within departments.
- Participates in the completion of month-end close checklist for all assigned items to ensure meeting or exceeding corporate timelines.
- Implements and complies with Company Reimbursement Policies and Procedures to maximize efficiency.
- Supervises the daily activities of front office staff.
