Qualifications:
General Summary:
The Summer Discovery Site Principal will provide leadership and support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for directing overall operations, services and staff at the building level; provide information and serve as a resource to others; enforce established policies and regulatory requirements; coordinate school activities and addressing issues, situations and/or problems that arise on campus or with enrolled students.

13. Confers with staff, students and community members on summer school problems and needs Works
with district office on summer school planning
14. Acts as Liaison to the Community
15. Interprets summer school program to community members
16. Maintains relations with parents, parent groups, school volunteers and outside agencies
17. Serves as information liaison between the summer school building and the community at large
18. Represents the summer school system at meetings
19. Must be available to attend planning meetings, hiring events, and training sessions
