What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Willert Home Products?
Willert Home Products is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Douglassville, PA Manufacturing Plant team.
Our Maintenance Technicians support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment throughout the plant in a safe and orderly manner. The individual will be expected to learn the operation of each production line, which includes high-speed filling and packaging machinery.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Industrial breakdown maintenance experience (packaging equipment experience preferred)
- Experience working on 110V - 480V AC, wiring panels, breakers, and laying conduit
- Electronics experience that includes PLC and troubleshooting
- Mechanical experience including cam & switches, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum pumps, fabricating and conveyors.
- Welding experience on Stick, MIG and TIG
- Milling and lathe experience preferred, but not required
- Complete knowledge of a Lock Out, Tag out program
- Experience with plastic molding equipment maintenance a plus
Desired Education and Skills:
- A two year technical degree is preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional mechanical aptitude is a must.
- 4 years industrial maintenance experience.

- Flexibility: willingness to change assignments when a line goes down.
