Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a busy dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth operation of the front desk. Experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the clinic, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries regarding services, procedures, and insurance information.
- Collect payments and manage medical collections as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow and service delivery.
- Provide support in managing office supplies and equipment as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office management practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using SoftDent software and scheduling systems is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
